On the islands of the Galapagos, the Albatross can bee seen nesting and carrying on with a number of rituals. They are among the largest of all flying birds and they can soar for hours in the breeze and never flap their wings. As we watched them interacting, I noticed them touching their beaks together for long periods of time.

As we watched them interacting, I noticed them touching their beaks together for long periods of time. Back and forth, it was like watching a sword fight. It was a beautiful dance. This image depicts two Albatross touching their beaks as a third seems to be acting as a referee. I could watch them for hours.
